New Office Bearers

The Annual General Meeting took place on 16 May 2017 at the Reading Country Club. Members attending this meeting raised various questions with regard to funding, finances, training, imports and exports. It is evident that the foundry industry is currently facing challenges and the SAIF board and management committee are fully aware of the hardship being faced by the industry.
SAIF will continue to strive to create opportunities through training, skills development and education and facilitate various initiatives to assist the industry in overcoming these challenges.

In collaboration with the NFTN, the dti and various other industry stakeholders the board remains fully committed to the task at hand. We would like to congratulate and welcome the new office bearers elected at the AGM and wish them well in their endeavours to assist in improving the competitiveness of the foundry industry.
