MEMBERSHIP The Institute accepts all those who are interested in the art, science and technique of founding in its various forms of metallurgy, melting procedure, moulding, pouring, diecasting, dressing of castings, heat treatment, patternmaking, costing and quality control, irrespective of academic qualifications. The rights and privileges are the same in all grades of membership and include participation in all Institute activities, subscription to the official publication, Foundry & Heat Treatment SA Journal, preferential booking and reduced fees in all activities and services. Individual SAIF members are able to request to become affiliates of the IBF (Institute of British Foundrymen). IBF affiliates will receive the `British Foundrymen', this is the IBF Journal, published monthly, which contains excellent technical papers. This will help to keep SAIF members informed on technology developments and general World foundry news and events. Affiliates will be able to use the IBF office and facilities when visiting the UK, and to attend IBF courses and seminars at member's rates. S.A.I.F. Individual Membership Application Form
S.A.I.F. Company Membership Application Form Company Membership - S.A.I.F. and/or I.H.T.S.E Any individual, or firm or organisation interested in participating in the activities of the Institute and desirious of lending its support to the Institute. Priviledges apply only to te plant or office where such membership is held, but include all personnel employed at such company.
